EAST CENTRAL ASCENSION PARISH IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA…
ST. JAMES PARISH IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA…
WEST CENTRAL ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA…

UNTIL NOON CDT

AT 1112 AM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS DETECTED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 60 MPH.  THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR CONVENT…OR 10 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF DONALDSONVILLE…AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH.

OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
LUTCHER…GRAMERCY AND GARYVILLE

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH…PREPARE
IMMEDIATELY FOR DAMAGING WINDS…DESTRUCTIVE HAIL…AND DEADLY CLOUD
TO GROUND LIGHTNING. PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER…
PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
