Magnolia Assisted Living held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Tuesday, April 25thto celebrate the grand opening of their new wing expansion. They are located at 1604 South Burnside Avenue, Gonzales, LA.
Magnolia Assisted Living now has 54 units for senior living which includes 28 studios and 26 one bedrooms (un-furnished). Proudly serving those in need, this facility provides assistance when aid is needed and performs periodic checks on their residents. They also offer video surveillance and have generated power if needed.
Attending the Ribbon Cutting for Magnolia Assisted Living were Executive Director Tammy Duhon, Resident Caregiver Supervisor April Thomas, Activity Coordinator Sherri Veazey, Dietary Manager Stacy Nelson and Resident Caregivers Cecila Hebert and Alima Harry. Also in attendance were City of Gonzales Mayor Barney Arceneaux, City of Gonzales Councilmen Neal Bourque and David Guitreau, Ascension Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Sherrie Despino, along with Chamber Ambassadors and Magnolia Assisted Living family, friends and residents.
