St. Amant graduate earns sergeant stripes

cory castonAttached is a picture of Sergeant Cory Caston (right) and First Sergeant Jason Schofield at Caston’s pinning ceremony where he received his sergeant stripes on January 1, 2013.

Caston, 27, is a 2004 graduate of St. Amant High School, and is currently stationed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, with HHC, 525th, MP BN. Caston’s  Military Occupational Speciality is 68S, Preventative Medicine NCO.

His family, the Caston’s, live in the area, and he sends his well wishes to all family and friends.

    Congrats on your promotion Cory. I was stationed in Gitmo all of 1966. I lived on Bay Hill and worked atop John Paul Jones Hill. U.S. Navy, Communications Tech. Naval Intelligence.
