High School Soccer Playoffs on the way!

78480929High School Soccer State Playoffs begins Thursday Night as #14 seeded Mandeville takes on #19 seeded Dutchtown in Mandeville. Dutchtown coming into the tournament with a season record of  2 – 1 – 0  in conference play, And  7 – 9 – 1 for the Season. Kick off on Thursday night was at 6:30 and we will keep you posted on the game results.

Number 11 seeded St. Amant High School will kick off their playoff game on Friday at the PIT and take on traveling #22 seeded Metairie, LA and Grace King High School. St. Amant has had an Impressive season with a record of 1 – 0 – 0 in conference play, and 16 – 4 – 2 for the season. Coach Adrian Garcia says that this St, Amant team one of the best he had to coach in his career. He said they are ready for the playoffs.

East Ascension High School also in the brackets this year, seeded at #13 with a record of   1 – 0 – 0 in Conference play and 10 – 8 – 5 for the season. They will be taking on #20 seeded West Monroe Saturday February 2nd at 3PM at Spartan Field. East Ascension’s Devin Rivett commented on the playoffs saying the team is working well together and The Spartans are ready for any obstacle they face.

  1. All three local high schools GIRLS soccer teams also made it to playoffs. I did not see that mentioned anywhere.
