Peace in the parish in the midst of despair

A beautiful image has been sent our way, taken today at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Gonzales.

st. elizStaff were awaiting the arrival of those individuals injured at the Williams Olefins plant explosion that claimed the life of 29 year-old Zachary C. Green of Hammond.

The photo shows the staff joining together as one, ready to take on both the mission of the hospital and the challenges their jobs bring them.

We at The Creole offer a thank you to all the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital for all they do, everyday, but specifically today in the wake of such terrible news for so many in our community.
